Welcome to Mt. Madonna High School
Mt. Madonna is a continuation high school that is designed for students who are 16 years old and older and are motivated to earn a high school diploma.
At Mt. Madonna we believe it is our role to help students recuperate credits and become productive citizens who will contribute positively to their communities.
Mt. Madonna staff is fully committed and focused on our main objective, which is to prepare all students for graduation. Furthermore, our experienced counseling staff is here to help students prepare and execute their post-secondary educational plans. Our standards-based instructional program fulfills the requirements of the state and our local school board for earning a high school diploma. Mt. Madonna High School is accredited by the Western Association of Schools and Colleges Accrediting Commission.
We provide our students with several opportunities to earn credits. We offer a variety of support and resources that help students earn their high school credits and complete their community service hours. Our students also receive several support services, including: mental health counseling, academic counseling, teen parenting support, and career/vocational guidance services. At Mt. Madonna High School, we are committed to providing the necessary services and programs to ensure that our students are successful in accomplishing their goals.
You can assist us in ensuring high levels of success for your student in the following ways:
- Ensure your student attends school every day and arrives to school on time.
- Familiarize yourself with the school guidelines and policies in this handbook.
- Maintain open lines of communication with our staff.
- Schedule routine meetings with their Academic Counselor and/or teaching staff
- Utilize Aeries Communication Portal to receive updates
